Discovery > Progman alternative on Windows 64bit

If you look are looking to use old progman.exe on a Windows 10 or 11 platform, you can still launch the one from Windows XP SP1.

But dreams will disappears when you will use it as it is quite ugly. Sub groups borders will not render well, icons of 64bit programs will not appears.

Not perfect at all.

You can look for alternative though.

Fences, Nimi places, are quite a few.

My best is portals from Ross Patterson.

opensource on github, fully customizable. (padding, sub tabs, change icons, change orientation of headers, ...) way more up-to-date than old progman.
